Policy Our Approach European Doctors & Nurses Limited has long acknowledged
that our staff are our most important resource. Staff development is one of the
most significant ways that the company supports staff to do the best job that
they are capable of doing. Staff development helps us all to work towards
achieving the University’s objectives and to achieve our own potential. Investment European Doctors
& Nurses Limited makes a significant investment in staff development in
order to maintain high standards and productivity, to support creativity and
innovation, and to encourage and sustain the culture of a learning organisation.
An average of roughly 5% of staff time will be available to support staff
development. Significant elements of both these investments may be directed
towards particular initiatives or strategic needs. Planning European Doctors
& Nurses Limited is committed to encouraging all staff to take a personal
responsibility to develop professionally. All staff will
undertake a planned and agreed staff development programme that matches their
own agreed priorities, and which is subject to regular review and revision. The
development plan will be formally reviewed and recorded annually by all staff in
conjunction with their line manager. |
